Hi there,
I am a research engineer at EDF R&D, where my main area of work revolves around electrical load forecasting. I am also an Associate Professor at the University of Paris-Saclay, where I teach an introductory course on Deep Learning, the materials for which can be found here.
I am a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, primarily focused on electric vehicle charging load modelling. My expertise lies in the application of statistical and machine learning methods to electrical load forecasting, including time series modelling, additive spline and wavelet models, and peak load/time forecasting.
I also share my passion for statistical and quantitative analysis through my YouTube channel, providing insights into football from a data-driven perspective.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my background.
Kind regards,
Dr. Amara-Ouali
