Profile

Research engineer, project lead and associate professor with a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and over 8 years of experience spanning industrial applied mathematics R&D, academia and data science consulting. Specialist in statistical learning and predictive machine learning for energy time series: forecasting, uncertainty quantification, and generative modelling. Expert in electric vehicle charging demand modelling; works with GAMs, expert aggregation, foundation and generative models. Supervises doctoral researchers and teaches deep learning and generative modelling at Master’s level.

Experience

• Since Oct. 2022 — Research Engineer, Project Lead since Jan. 2026, EDF R&D, Palaiseau. Leads a research project on predictive machine learning methodologies and AI for time series forecasting and medium-term scenario generation (GAM, expert aggregation, foundation models, generative models). Statistical modelling (R & Python) of short/medium-term electricity consumption for EDF stakeholders. Supervises the PhDs of Guillaume Principato (since Dec. 2023) and Eloi Campagne (since Feb. 2024).
• Since Oct. 2022 — Associate Professor (PAST), Universite Paris-Saclay. Teaches in the Master MIA (Mathematics & Artificial Intelligence). M1 instructor, Introduction to Deep Learning; M2 instructor, Mathematics of Generative Models.
• Oct. 2019 – Oct. 2022 — PhD Candidate, Paris-Saclay / EDF R&D. Thesis: Spatio-temporal modelling of electric vehicle charging load, supervised by Pascal Massart, Jean-Michel Poggi, Yannig Goude and Hui Yan — defended 22 September 2022. Taught statistics at ENSAE and time series modelling at ENSTA. Co-organised a data challenge on EV charging station usage.
